Naval Troops recover a cache of warlike materials

Based on information received Intelligence Team attached to SLNS “Gajaba” recovered a cache of warlike materials from the general area of Pesalai, Thalaimannar yesterday (25 January 2010) around 1500hrs. The recovered items include one T 56 weapon, seven hand grenades, one T 56 magazine, and two communication handsets. The items were found carefully wrapped and buried in an isolated area.
