Navy SC (B) routs Police SC (B)

Navy Sports Club continued their winning streak by easily defeating their opponents Police Sports Club by 25 points (03 Tries, 02 Conversions, and 02 Drop Goals) to 05 points (01 Try) in their Division ‘B’ Rugby League Tournament match played at the Police Park on 17th August 2011.

Navy SC’B’ displayed their superior rugby skills by brilliantly working the ball to score three Tries and two Drop Goals as against a solitary Try scored by the Police SC. Navy SC dominated the match from the very outset of the match with their spectacular show of rugby and scored Tries through Rthnasuriya,Priyadarshan and Mendis while two brilliantly executed Drop Goals were scored by GC Nishantha. Scoring a Drop Goal entails a lot of agility and athleticism, therefore scoring two drop Goals is a marvelous achievement.
