Outgoing Chinese Ambassador pays farewell call on Commander of the Navy

Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Her Excellency Mrs. Yang Xiuping, who completed her tenure of service in Colombo, paid a farewell call on Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake at the Naval Headquarters on 25^th April 2012.

The Chinese ambassador conveyed her appreciation of the cordial relations maintained by the Sri Lanka Navy with her embassy in strengthening bilateral relations. Commander of the Navy expressed his gratitude to Her Excellency for the facilitation extended for training SLN personnel in China. He presented a special memento to the outgoing Ambassador as a mark of appreciation for the distinguished service rendered.
