Navy arrests a Person with Sea Cumbers

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Kanchadewa of the Northern Naval Command arrested a person who was illegally transporting 787 no’s of sea cucumbers in a vehicle at Merinchimunai on 07^th May 2012. The arrested person and the items were handed over to Fishery Inspector at Kayts for onward action.
