Sea Cadet Assessment Camp 2012 Commenced at NMA

Sea Cadet Assessment Camp 2012 commenced at the Naval and Maritime Academy (NMA) in Trincomalee on 3rd June 2012. One thousand twelve (1,012) male sea cadets from 40 schools belonging to 21 battalions are taking part in this year’s camp, which is scheduled to conclude on 09th .

Cadets are evaluated under several areas which include seamanship & naval knowledge, map reading, knots & usage of ropes and endurance march. During the stay at NMA, sea cadets will be given an opportunity to visit naval ships and go on a cruise inside the Tricomalee Habour.
