Lanka Ashok Leyland gifts Super Luxury Bus to SLN

Lanka Ashok Leyland Company gifted a super luxury 21-seater fully air-conditioned passenger bus to the Sri Lanka Navy. It was handed over to Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake by CEO of the company Mr. Umesh Gautam at a function held at the Naval Headquarters on 06th June 2012. Director Generals, Director Automobile Engineering, Director Foreign Procurement of the Navy and Deputy Marketing Manager of Lanka Ashok Leyland (PLC) Mr. Lasantha Ransinghe were also present on the occasion.

Lanka Ashok Leyland is a joint venture between Lanka Leyland Limited (a wholly owned company of the Government of Sri Lanka) and Ashok Leyland Limited India.
