“Jayasagara” tows Multi-day Fishing Trawler to Safety

Sri Lanka Naval Vessel “Jayasagara” towed a multi-day fishing trawler “Jayaprarthana 1” to safety on 22nd June 2012. The trawler had met with a mechanical problem while in the seas off Little Basses. The trawler on tow was handed over to another fishing vessel “Sudusan 8” 2.5 nautical miles off Tangalle to be brought to the fisheries harbour.
