Navy beat Army

Navy Sports Club beat Army 19-14 in a Dialog A Division league rugby encounter, which was worked off at Police Park in Bambalapitiya on 22nd June 2012. First Lady Madam Shiranthi Wickremasinghe Rajapaksha, Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayaka, President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Neluka Dissanayake and senior naval officers were present to witness the match.

Navy scored 2 tries, 2 penalties and a drop goal. The one against Army is Navy’s third consecutive win in the tournament.
