SLN Water Sports & Beach Games for “Loving Trinco”
 

Sri Lanka Navy has organized a wide range of exciting water sports and beach games to coincide with “Loving Trinco - 2012”, the Construction, Architectural, Industrial Exhibition and the Beach Festival conducted by the Chamber of Commerce in the Eastern province under the aegis of the Ministry of Defence. “Loving Trinco – 2012” was ceremonially declared open by Governor of the Eastern Province Rear Admiral (rtd) Mohan Wijewickrema on 04th July 2012.

All local communities, handicraftsmen, hoteliers and others involved in small industries showcase their talents at the event held from 04th to 08th July at the Dutch Bay in Trincomalee to revitalize the province. Special and attractive events conducted by the Navy include a floating night club onboard SLN Passenger Vessel A 543, a Stunt Show, which consists of high speed maneuvers by 08 SBS Arrow craft and pleasure rides onboard lagoon craft.
