Commander of the Navy commends “Ranaviru Real Star - Mission II” Navy Winners
 

Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake commended the “Ranaviru Real Star - Mission II” Navy winners at a ceremony, which was held at the Naval Headquarters on 12th July 2012.

Second place winner, Able Musician Gayan Arunpriya was granted a field advancement to the rate of Leading Musician in appreciation of his excellent performance at the reality show which brought credit to the Navy. Displaying his exceptional singing, Gayan created history receiving the highest audience SMS responses at the reality show.

The 07th place winner, Medical Assistant (I) NMNG Fernando and the 09th place winner, Leading Musician S Pathiranage were also granted filed advancements to the rates of Medical Assistant (II) and Petty Officer respectively. They also received Rs 250,000/= cash awards each in recognition of their exceptional performances at the contest.
