Navy beat CR & FC
 

Navy Sports Club beat CR & FC 58-17 in a Dialog A Division first round rugby encounter, which was worked off at Navy Sports Grounds in Welisara on 14^th July 2012. First Lady Madam Shiranthi Wickremasinghe Rajapaksha, Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake, President of the Navy Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Niluka Dissanayake and senior naval officers were present to witness the match.

Navy scored 2 tries, 6 goals and 2 drop goals whilst CR & FC scored 1 penalty and 2 goals in reply. The one against CR & FC is Navy’s sixth consecutive win in the tournament. With their unbeaten spell, Navy enjoy the second notch in the point table. The jubilant sailors are determined to play entertaining rugby with their winning combination that has produced remarkable results so far.
