Navy Civil Athletic Team wins 04 Gold Medals

The Navy Civil Athletic Team won 04 Gold Medals at the All Island Veteran Athletic Championship, which was held at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy from 01^st to 02^nd July 2012. The Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Jayanath Colombage commended their achievements.

D.D. Gurusinghe led the over 35 age team representing Sri Lanka Naval Dockyard Civil Sports and Welfare Society. Mrs. C. Bogahawatta won 02 Gold Medals and Mr. E. M. Jayawardhana and Mrs. E.V.G.D.N. Thilaka won 01 Gold Medal each. In addition to them, 02 Silver and 05 Bronze Medals were also won by the team.
