SLNS Gemunu Junior Sailors’ Accommodation Building declared open

Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake declared open the Junior Sailors’ Accommodation Building at SLNS Gemunu in Welisara on 26th July 2012. The four-storey  spacious building equipped with modern facilities, has been constructed on the Commander of the Navy’s directions to improve the living conditions of naval personnel. Commandant VNF Rear Admiral Susith Weerasekera, Commander Western Naval Area Rear Admiral Rohan Amarasinghe and other senior naval officers were also present on the occasion.
