Navy arrests 04 Persons engaged in Treasure Hunting

Naval troops attached to SLNS Thopoor of the Eastern Naval Command on information received arrested 04 persons who were engaged in treasure hunting past midnight in the Uppural area in Trincomalee on 01^st August 2012. A knife, 03 flower daises, a nut cracker, ten lemons and a hacksaw blade used for the conduct of the rituals were also taken into naval custody. The arrested persons and the items were handed over to Lanka Patuna Police Post for further investigations.
