Navy assists 250^th Jubilee Celebrations of St. Anne’s Church

Sri Lanka Navy assisted the 250^th Jubilee Celebrations of St. Anne’s Church at Thalawila in Kalpitiya, which were held from 01^st to 05^th August 2012.

Naval personnel attached to SLNS Vijaya of the North-western Naval Command rendered their maximum cooperation throughout the event. SLN Life Saving teams and medical personnel were stationed at the venue to assist the public attending the anniversary celebrations.

The colourful event was attended by a large number of devotees. Director General Budget and Finance of the Navy Rear Admiral Shemal Fernando and senior naval officers also participated.
