Forty Three Direct Entry Officers enlisted

The enlistment ceremony of forty-three (43) Direct Entry officers was held under the patronage of Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Somathilake Dissanayake at the NHQ Wardroom on 14th August 2012. Among the enlisted were 15 Sub Lieutenants (07 Executive & 08 Logistics), 22 Lieutenants (IT), 02 Lieutenant Commanders (Medical) and 04 Captains (01 Medical & 03 Dental). Senior naval officers, parents and a large number of well-wishers were also present on the occasion.
