Northern Naval Command facilitates Nagadeepa Visitors
The Northern Naval Command renders assistance to visitors to the historic Nagadeepa Island. During the month of August alone a record member of 128,500 visitors from all parts of the country visited the sacred place held in the highest esteem by Buddhists following the Lord Buddha’s visit.
Visitors had made use of the opportunity during the August School vacation with the finish of A/L and Year 5 Scholarship examinations. Naval Personnel of the Northern Naval Command ensured the safety and security of the visitors and rendered assistance to make their visit to Nagadeepa a memorable event in their lives.
