point. The time was at around 1230 hours
and the temperature was soaring. Starting the 1961'
journey towards ND Walaipadu and the last
destination of the journey ND Kiranchi our tïtka ú;dkf.a
team departed from ND Devils Point. After Wm ¨‍;skka ^iafõ&
having a small refreshment at ND Kiranchi we tkaùtlaia 5880
started heading towards the starting point. We kdúl yuqod uQ,ia:dkh
reached the starting point by 1400 hours.

The journey was fully adventurous and
very tiring for all. There was Coconut water
arranged in each and every ND and a COP
which boosted our energy level throughout
the journey. After all CNCNA could grab the
realistic ground situation of those distant
COPs and NDs. The sailors had very practical
ideas and they were always appreciated by the
Area Commander. So many decisions were
taken and so many solutions were provided
to increase the effectiveness of the duties and
routines implemented in those areas. The
journey became a very beneficial one with
a free off road ride experience. The CNCNA
always instructed the Commanding Officer and
the executive officer of SLNS Buwaneka for fast
execution of the decisions.
